Roomies Reunite

Jenny came out for her brother's graduation this weekend and we got the pleasure of going to the Malt Shoppe like the good old days when we were roommates:) But thinking about it I don't think we ever went there when we all lived together as poor college students. We are all high rollers now that we are all graduated and working our lives away!!! Yeah baby we know how to have fun on a Friday night. We sat and talked at the Malt Shoppe for a good two hours eating our ice cream and cheese fries. Can you think of anything better?!?! Poor Mark, Mary husband, got to hang out with the girlies:)

10 Things That Make ME Happy:)

Well Kellie Tagged me so here goes...
1. My knowledge of the Gospel and what it has done for me in my life. Not a day goes by without me knowing that someone is looking out for me and wanting me to be HAPPY.
2. My family. They seem to help put me in my place and give me great nicknames like Malibu Moake. They love to hear my stories and all the updates with everything in my life.
3. My great friends that I have:) They are always there when I have a dramatic moment in my life and help me figure it out!!!
4. GUYS:) ha ha. We have a love hate relationship!! Some days they make me very happy and other days they make me depressed. Majority of time we get along pretty well!!!
5. Popcorn and blankets while watching a movie.
6. Going for walks. I love to go out and clear my head by being outside and not having to worry about work or guys:)
7. The sun is my best friend. I kind of get depressed in the winter months and need the sun to come back in my life.
8. Eating makes me happy and more lively. I love to eat but I am pretty picky as to what I will put in my mouth and swallow!!!
9. My nieces and nephews make me very happy when they learn to say my name and get excited to see me. They are all so much fun, except when they tell me they hate me (Yep that was for Hunter).
10. The last thing that makes me happy is Fridays. I love it when the work week comes to an end and I get to have my own time for a couple of days.

Brynn is done with Chemo

So my friend Brynn had her last shot of Chemo Therapy earlier this month and so we had a little party!!! It was a lot of fun and we had lots of good food!!! Sweet ya:) It was what you call cocktail wear!!! I had no idea what that meant so I figured that I couldn't go wrong with my little black dress!! ha ha. It was fun and I am happy that Brynn is all done. Go Brynn:)

Executive Office Manager

So about three weeks ago I interviewed for a position at the credit union called Executive Office Manager. I figured I didn't get it since I hadn't heard from them. Well today the CEO wanted to come and have a chat with me. So he came to the South Orem Branch and we met in a little room. He told me that they were trying to decide between me and someone else. I was like, "OK great, you could have told me that over the phone but whatever" :) So he told me that he would let me know by the end of the day and twenty minutes later my co-worker Jon told me that the President wanted to talk to me. So I went and talked to him and he told me that I got the position and asked me to come over. So I went and had a little crash course of what I will be doing and OMG information overload but nothing I can't handle!!! It should be fun because I moved from the bottom floor to the third floor and that takes people years to do!!! What can I say?!?! I am loved:) ha ha just kidding. I am excited for the change and everything that is to come!!! Hopefully everything works out and I will definitely enjoy the pay raise as well. As Lisa pointed out my name will now be a part of the employee tests. ha ha. I went from not even having a phone, a business card or anything special to having one of the largest desks in the credit union!! Maybe it is because I have to file a whole bunch of stuff but it will be good:) Wish me luck with my baptism of fire!!!!

Blogging

So I decided to change my blog up a bit and that was probably not the smartest thing I have done because it deleted everything I had except for the posts. All morning long I have been trying to remember everyone I had on my friend list. So if I am missing you then let me know?!? Thanks:) Sorry. But I like the template better on this one and hopefully next time I will save everything before I try to change it up a bit. ha ha

One Crazy Weekend

So I was pretty darn excited for last weekend!!! I was at work on Friday trying to get tickets to the Stadium of Fire and failed:( don't bring it up it is still a sore subject for me. I called my niece and she told me that grandpa was having a heart attack!!! What the freak?!?! which grandpa is it?!?! She told me it was my dad and so I balanced out and left work for the ER. Yes my dad had to go to the ER because he was having chest pains. When he got there they did some tests and didn't really think anything was wrong. My dad said that he was fine but the cardiologist thought differently. So on Saturday they did a procedure called an Angiogram which it where they take a little camera and look to see how your arteries are hold up. Well one of his major ones was 99% clogged so it is a good thing he went to the hospital because if he would have had a heart attack he would be with my mom. There is no survial rate with this type of heart attack as what the nurse told me. Scary but the cardiologist put a stint in his artery to open it up. He was released Sunday afternoon and is now back to work. It was one long weekend in the hospital but I am thankful that I still have one living parent!!! I was a little sad because I didn't get to do anything that I had planned this weekend but I got to spend some quality time at the hospital taking naps on love seats that are two feet too small:) Good times!!!
