I made it 40 miles!!!

I rode 40 miles last Saturday in Logan Utah for MS. It was a great ride and I felt awesome after :) I am glad I did it and now I can say that I can go 40 miles on my bike!!! Yeah yeah it was awesome!!! Here are a few pictures :)

This was awesome and it was so much fun!! I can't wait until next year!! Thanks to everyone who helped me out with getting donations!!!

I heart Kelly Clarkson!!!

Mary, Melinda, Melissa, Diana, Lucas and I made it to the Kelly Clarkson Concert tonight and it was sooo much fun!! I loved every second of it. Once the music starts I start acting like a little girl screaming, singing and jumping up and down. What can I say I know how to have a good time :) ha ha

Florida here I come!!!

So this last Thursday I boarded a plane at 9:00am had a couple of layovers, one in Denver and the other in Atlanta, and ended up in a spot I have never been before...Pensacola Florida!!! I walked out of the gate and Russ was there waiting with open arms ha ha. I was sure happy to have had my hour and a half layover in Atlanta so I could put on my makeup or else I would have not been a happy camper. Anyway we get in Russ's truck, very nice I might add, and drove to his apartment. Don't worry it was a two bedroom two bathroom residence :) Oh but not to mention it is very humid there and when I first walked out of the airport it was hard to breathe. Anyway after we got back to his place I changed and we went to an outdoor band. It was a blast here are a few pictures from that!!

After we got done with the outdoor band we went out to eat at an Irish Pub Restaurant. I don't remember what it is called but it was good.
There were over $800,000 dollar bills on the ceiling. Pretty Crazy!!
Russ wrote on a dollar for us. It says...
"Shawna's first time...Amazing!! Provo UTAH Russ the Bus INDIANA". He did such a great job!

That night we watched one of my all time favorite movies "27 Dresses" He gave it a "B" rating. Apparently he doesn't know a good movie when he sees one :)
The next morning I got to sleep in and then we went to the beach. This was the first time I have ever been in the ocean. It was great except the water was yucky and I didn't mean to swallow some of it. Gross!!!
Yeah I know he looks better in his swimming suit than I do in mine...ha ha

We saw a little boy with a fow hawk mullet :) Love it!!!
We saw a wedding on the beach.
After the beach we went home and went dancing!!! It was a blast. I didn't take my camera so I don't have any pictures but hopefully I will be able to get some. After dancing we watched "Twilight". He gave that one a "B-" so sad he didn't love it!!! I sure do :)
The next day we woke up early and went tubing down the river. Once again I didn't bring my camera sorry. It was fun and I pulled it off without getting a sunburn!!! :) I am so proud of myself. After tubing we went to Stake Conference the Saturday night session and it was AMAZING. Elder Bednar was there and spoke on tithing. After that we watched "P.S. I Love You". He gave that one a "B+". I still think they are "A+s" :)
The next day we woke up and went to Stake Conference and came back for a well needed nap. We watched "The Univited" The AC stopped working and it was one of the hottest days when I was there. After a long day in the heat of his apartment I looked up and realized that there were ceiling fans!!! ha ha. All we could do is laugh because it was soooo HOT!!! After the fans were turned on it was great :).
I woke up this morning and got back on the airplane and had a couple more layovers and FINALLY made it home. It was a fabulous weekend and I had a blast!!! Thanks for a great weekend Russ. You are AMAZING :)

Idaho=Fun :)

Three Day Weekends means ROAD TRIPS!!! For Memorial Day weekend Diana, Lucas, Scott and I went up to visit my cousins in Idaho. It was fun to go up and play and show Lucas around. We went and ate at the famous Big Judds, went to the man made falls, hiked in the 17 mile Cave, went on another hike and visited the Rexburg temple!! It was a nice relaxing and fun packed weekend!! :)

My very FIRST Bees Game!!!

My friend Kevin is back in town and so we decided to go to a Bees Baseball Game!!! It was a blast!! Kevin is so great and I am glad I got to go with him. Oh and one of the best parts is that he had a little present for me when he picked me up...He got me an Edward Cullen fan club shirt that says BITE ME on it!!!
